What is a single check?
One report for one domain, without an account: e-mail check, security, performance, SEO check, AI visibility (technical check and brand glance) or accessibility (semantics of one page). The report stays reachable by link for seven days.
What does an account add?
Test-mail runs, combined reports of several reports, schedules with a mail on changes and the history of your reports.
Can I try bytereport first?
Yes. Every single check runs without an account, and Starter is free for good: with test mail runs, combined reports and a schedule. You see real reports of your domain before you book a paid plan, and you need no credit card for it.
How do I pay?
By credit card through Stripe, monthly or yearly (2 months free). The invoice comes by mail and is under Account · Plan and billing.
How do I change my plan?
Under Account · Plan and billing. An upgrade, say from Pro to Team or from monthly to yearly, applies at once; you pay only the difference for the rest of the period. A move to a smaller plan applies from the next renewal; until then everything stays usable.
How do I cancel?
Under Account · Plan and billing with “Cancel”. The subscription runs to the end of the paid period and then ends without further cost; Starter applies after that. Until then you can take the cancellation back with one click.
What does it cost when my team grows?
Team includes a few users; each further one costs a fixed amount and is charged pro rata as soon as they join. Owners and billing admins set a seat limit so there are no unexpected costs. Whoever leaves the team frees their seat at the end of the period.
Do I need a VAT ID?
bytereport is for companies, the self-employed and sole traders in the EU. Without a VAT ID, and in Germany, German VAT is added. With a valid VAT ID from another EU country the reverse charge applies; we check the ID when you save it.
What happens if a payment fails?
Stripe tries again several times, and we remind you by mail. If the invoice stays open for 14 days, the organisation is locked until it is paid. Your reports and settings stay as they are.
Can I check several domains?
Yes, in every plan. The limits count runs, not domains: test mail runs, combined reports and schedules count per month or per organisation, whatever the domain.
